The Nutcracker Music Box.

Commissioned to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Tchaikovsky's famous ballet, this finely detailed music box bears the Palekh art of Master Artist Natalia Zaitseva. Each side of the porcelain box is adorned with elaborate scenes from The Nutcracker Ballet, and is carefully accented with 24-karat gold. Its resonant 18-note, steel comb tine musical movement plays The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Kiln-fired in the U.S. in a hand-numbered edition. 2 1/4" H x 4 5/8" W x 1 7/8" D.
